mom’s suggestions

mom's suggestionsLast two weeks, my brother went to the beach with his colleagues. My mom suggests that I should go with them so to meet other people or shall I say broaden my horizon. However, it would be awkward that I go with them since it’s a company thing not a public gathering.

My younger brothers heard our conversation, and plead that they should go instead of me. Certainly that is not a good idea. To shut them, I promised that we will have a family vacation. They are so excited and happy to hear that.

Honestly, I want to bring my family in a place where they can enjoy luxurious accommodation and service. If I have sufficient money I would definitely bring them Azul Beach Hotel located at the secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya. Not only do my siblings can enjoy, my parents can enjoy as well because they will be pampered with adult-sized indulgences. However, I only have this much. So, we have to settle for local vacation. The most important thing is that they can relax and visit different place.

conversation about CPU

Posted by admincha | daily ramblings | Wednesday 1 July 2009 1:11 pm

My dad asked me something if a Pentium 4 CPU is already good. I only have little knowledge about computer. But, I know that it’s already okay. However, there are other things inside the CPU that affects the computers performance. So, I refer him to hubby because he knowledgeable about computers. He began asking my father some information about it, which my father doesn’t know.

Well, I already butt-in and suggest that they should go together when my father decides to buy. I don’t like the confusing the old man or giving him hard time. It’s not his line of work anyway.

choosing between style and sustainability

choosing between style and sustainabilityGuys did you think that you’re doomed to choose between style and sustainability for eternity? Well, that’s just not the briefcase anymore. Plenty of good-looking, eco-friendly man bags are available to make sure your laptop, keys, and voodoo doll (just one more fart joke, Carrot Top…) go everywhere you go.

In fact you have these benefits: Designs so cool, you’ll think black magic conjured them. Another thing is not jinxing the earth. Eco-materials such as hemp and recycled soda bottles steer clear of pesticides and keep trash out of landfills – more than you can say for your average leather or PVC carry all. And, you can bestow good fortune on eco-designers. Its supply and demand: When you support trailblazing bag artists, more eco-friendly goods will follow. So, think about it now!

impressed with her uniform

impressed with her uniformI left my very first resume this year to my friend who is connected to that company. I am impressed with her uniform the very first time I saw her. She looks good in her outfit and I want to wear that too. Maybe, well, let’s just see about that. Upon arriving home, I thought about costume jewelry of Holsted Jewelers. They have provided exclusively designed jewelry, gifts and accessories. All of their pieces went through strict quality-assurance guidelines ensure every item is created to the highest standards, and then inspected twice before it is delivered. I found a piece that matches the kind of uniform my friend wears. Of course, I will not expect much since I am still applying. It is uncertain that I could wear that uniform.

hubby is badly needed

Posted by admincha | daily ramblings | Wednesday 1 July 2009 12:51 pm

Hubby received a text message from her sister stating that she needs him to go to their house. She said that she can’t turn her computer on. It’s been malfunction since last year. But, hubby did not bother about it since we are leaving at that time. Although hubby is very busy doing some online stuff, he decided to give them a visit. His sister badly needs the computer because she has so many things to do in such a short time. Well, hopefully he will not take long.

Top List of Hottest Bachelors in People’s Magazine

Top List of Hottest Bachelors in People's MagazineWe cannot deny the fact that they are famous, young, incredibly handsome and what’s most important single. They’re the men who make up People magazine’s annual list of the hottest bachelors of the moment, the guys any girl would kill to have and men to be. Chace Crawford, Chris Pine and Robert Pattinson are just three of the names featured on the list.

23-year-old “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford takes the top position, judged on popularity, good looks and demand from the industry. Hot on his heels is somewhat of a newcomer, “Star Trek” star Chris Pine who, no matter how much he insists he doesn’t like being a part of the fame game, continues to be among the hottest commodities of the day. Speaking of media attention and being famous, Chace reveals to People that being in the spotlight while involved with Taylor Swift has really taught him a couple of invaluable life lessons, even if their romance did not last. His perfect date, though, is far from the glamorous deal fans might imagine. Just like most of the other men included in the hot list, Chace too is actually quite laid back and is looking for something that resembles normalcy.

The other finalists on the hottest bachelors list are “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf at number 3, and American Idol runner-up and one of the most promising stars on the music stage right now Adam Lambert at number 4. The fifth position is a tie between Ryan Eggold of “90210” and Kellan Lutz from “Twilight,” while the sixth goes to Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock. The top ten is rounded up by Brody Jenner on 7, rapper and actor Common (seen last in “Terminator: Salvation”) on 8, Taylor Kitsch (from “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) on 9, and Robert Pattinson (who clearly no longer needs any introduction) on the final position.

my friends gave birthI am so happy to announce that one of my closest friends gave birth to a wonderful baby girl. I just learned that she got pregnant a month before her due date. Well, I’ve been away for a year and I lost contact with her. One of our common friends relay the news about her pregnancy when I arrived here. It’s more of a gossip, but I don’t care she is my friend. And I am happy that she is now a mother. Because of that I am giving her a personalized baby gifts for her little wonder. I know exactly where to go at Babynest where I can find everything tot-related from sentimental, personalized baby and nursery essentials to unique favors for a stylish baby shower. Isn’t that wonderful and convenient?

feeling sad about it

Posted by admincha | daily ramblings | Wednesday 1 July 2009 12:26 pm

feeling sad about itI mentioned in my previous post that I feel horrible yesterday after seeing myself really big in the fitting room of the mall. Yep I feel so sad about it. Hubby ensures that I look fine and sexy. However, I went to the mall again this morning to for a picture. I need them for my resumes. As I change clothes, I saw myself looking good. I felt great again. I am not that big after all. So, I have to blame the other mirror or it could be that I am just convincing myself that I am not big. We still don’t have mirror at home. So, I really can’t see myself.
