You can redo your old lamp to give it a new and fantastic look. What you need is a wallpaper remnant or a single sheet in a pretty print, double-sided tape, newspaper, craft glue, and two lengths of grosgrain ribbon to finish the top and bottom edges of the lamp cover. Starting at the seam, roll the shade along a large piece of newspaper, tracing one edge with pencil, until you’ve made a full turn plus one inch (to give yourself an overlap to tape the two ends together). Repeat the opposite side and cut your pattern; test it to make sure it fits. Trim the wallpaper to the same size, wrap it around the shade, and neatly tape it into place. Lightly glue ribbon along the edges. This will surely brighten the look of your old lamp. Plus, it will help illuminate your digital photo frame with your favorite photographs.
