- It is the best wash lingerie by hand, but when using a washing machine, place them in a mesh-type wash bag – it will prevent precious fabric from losing its shape.
- Wash your lingerie separately at all times, using delicate plant-based laundry soap. Regular detergents contain harsh ingredients that could break down soft fabric.
- Avoid machine-drying your lingerie. The heat of the dryer can wreak havoc on Lycra, spandex, and elastic material. Instead, lay them out flat to dry and away from direct sunlight so they don’t fade out or get deformed.
- Rotate your bras and air them out after a short use. Bras need to be washed after every wear unless damp with sweat, but wearing your bra two days in a row must also be avoided!
- Experts say that for bras to fit flawlessly, they must be replaced every six to eight months. However, proper care can prolong their lifespan.
