The cleaning you can do every night after dinner that will just take 5 minutes.
- Wipe down counter and stove-top (2mins). Run a
damp cleanser-treated microfiber cloth across the counter using horizontal overlapping strokes, and spot-clean spills and grease on the stove and in the microwave. - Sweep the floor (3mins). Look around for spot of coffee grounds, cookie crumbs, or pet hairballs on the floor then grab a vacuum or a dry flat microfiber mop and give the floor a quick once-over, starting in the farthest corner and working out toward the door. Wipe wet spills with a dampened paper towel.
The cleaning you can do every two weeks that will only take 13 minutes.
- Dust walls and cupboards (4mins). Use a half-damp microfiber cloth to spot-dust walls and counter-tops as well as door and window frames.
- Clean out the fridge (2mins). Spot-clean spills on shelves and inside drawers with a damp microfiber cloth.
- Wipe down surfaces (3mins). With a cleanser-treated cloth; wipe down the counter, sink especially if you are using beautiful farmhouse sinks, stove and fridge using overlapping horizontal strokes. A grout brush and a bit of cleanser will nip grit and grime around the faucet.
- Clean baseboards and floors (4mins) Sweep baseboards with a dry microfiber mop, and then sweep the floor, starting in the farthest corner and working out of the room.
