some chitchat with my friend

Last night one of my friends back home have some chitchat. We talked a lot of things and end up talking about her new Diamond Jewellery. She received a diamond engagement ring from her long time boyfriend for 5 years. She is so happy about it and willingly accepts the marriage proposal. However, after a day or two she begins to doubt the authenticity of the ring. I suggest that she should go to a pawnshop and have it checked. The question now, what if the ring is fake, what would she do. The question struck her and could not answer it. If she drops the proposal because of it, then she’s not sure about the guy. What if the guy really gave her a fake ring to make sure she really loved him. It’s something to think about.
