Many people are having problems losing weight and that includes me. I used to have a sexy body. Well, that way to over now because I already gained weight as I grow old. I don’t know if I am still on my healthy BMI. I was not able to weigh myself. I tried to exercise and diet but haven’t seen result. Well, maybe because I just started last two months. But, a friend of mine who used Orovo got her ideal weight after taking in the pills for a couple of months. Hopefully I will get my ideal weight in the long run.
Do you buy less to save more? Well, here is the idea! Time, that is. The express line might save you a couple minutes right now, but if you fill up your cart, and later, your fridge, you’ll make fewer overall trips to the store, and save cash, energy, and hours in the process – showing that less isn’t always more.
Here are some benefits you can grab. You can check standing up to pollution. Half the pollution it takes to transport your food comes from your drive to and from the store, the other half comes from farm to distribution center to store. Another is you can queue up home energy savings. Both your fridge and freezer are more efficient when you pack them full, but not so full that cold air can’t circulate. In a power outage, they’ll even hold the temp for twice as long as half-full ones. Even less time than self-service checkout! Even the time you spend parking can make you think twice about going to the store for just a couple items. Lastly, line-ing your pockets, save cash on electricity bills and gasoline.
Last time I mention about the housekeeper of our boarding house and how she wants to lose weight. After sometime I saw an improvement on her size because of exercise, diet and weight loss pills. The sad thing however, she begins to munch in so many junk when her cousin stayed in our place. She forgets her goal to lose weight. She started to gain as much weight because of unmindful eating. I don’t want to interfere, but I feel sad that she went through tough times during her weight lose time and just waste it for a week.
Going to an evening party? You are ready with your dress, fashion jewelry and shoes. But, glamorous and sexy, evening makeup is always a pain to figure out so ditched the eye shadows and liners for a berry lipstick instead. To get started, make sure your eyebrows are groomed and free of strays. Evening eye makeup makes use of darker colors, and stray eyebrows hairs will make dark makeup look dirty if they’re in the way.
Set your foundation. A clean base will make your makeup stand out more. If you have good skin, just use concealer on dark areas like the under the eyes and around the nose and dust your face with powder that matches your skin. And then pile loose powder under your eyes and on top of check bones to catch stray eye shadow. When you’re done simply brush away the powder for a clean finish.
Having those hectic and incredibly busy days when time seems to be slipping by and we feel like we’re not getting anything done properly, sleep is one of the first things that we readily sacrifice. An hour or two, we say to ourselves, will not make a great deal of difference in our daily schedule, as long as at the end of the day we can finally put aside our computers and give a well-earned, sleepy sigh of relief. However, doctors have been warning us for a long time that self-induced sleep deprivation is very bad news for us, as it reduces our productivity and exposes us to wide varieties of risks.
Short-term effects of sleep deprivation range from making bad decisions to much more serious things, such as lapses of attention while driving, which can cause veritable tragedies. The long-term effects of our “stay awake longer” crusade are equally severe: weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, depression and substance abuse can all occur as we stubbornly refuse to allow our brains to rest completely.
While we sleep, all sorts of beneficial changes take place in our bodies – and when that doesn’t happen, things stop functioning properly. One example of this would be the fact that due to insufficient sleep, our bodies secrete smaller amounts of appetite-suppressing hormones and higher doses of appetite stimulating hormones, which make us crave more food than our bodies really need and thus pile on the pounds. With all the other sources of stress in our environment, lack of sleep is definitely not something we should inflict upon ourselves.
Last year, I feel so lucky to be invited to my cousins wedding and act as her maid of honor. They are so busy with the preparation. Being the youngest of two, my cousin gets the whims she wishes. It is such a big wedding for middle class family. Her gown is so nice and pretty. The venue is pretty nice, with lots of beautiful wedding centerpieces. But, I did not make it to the reception since I have a scheduled business travel which I am late. I just attended the ceremony since I can’t cancel it and I don’t want to frustrate my cousin on her wedding day.
If you are giving a book this Christmas like Christian books you can put it into a stenciled bag. It is different kind of gift wrapping. All you have to do is make a simple canvass tote more personal. Outline the image you want to stencil. Buy a ready-made stencil from a craft store then dip a paint sponge in the fabric paint and use it to cover the stencil evenly. Just dab it but don’t brush or the paint will go on too thickly. Once you’ve finished, pull the stencil off the bag. When the design is dry, set it with a piece of cloth and iron accordingly to paint instructions. Now you have a bag that is personal for your gift book.
The common belief is that Italians invented pizza, but its origin goes back to ancient times in the Middle East. Babylonians, Israelites, Egyptians, Armenians, Greeks and Romans, and other ancient cultures ate flat, unleavened bread cooked in mud ovens. The Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians were eating the bread topped with olive oil and native spices (what is today called focaccia). But Italy’s version of the dish, especially from Naples, is the one we are familiar with – with tomato, cheese, and other toppings and seasonings. Supposedly, this pizza was first created by the baker Raffaele Esposito in Naples. His creation was immediately a favorite, and Esposito was called to make a pizza for the visit of King Umberto and Queen Margherita of Italy in 1889. The first known pizza shop was the Port ‘Alba in Naples, which opened in 1830 and is still open today. Pizza spread to America, England, France, and Spain but it was little-known in these countries until World War II. In occupying Italian territory, many American and European soldiers tasted pizza. In America, Italian immigrants sold pizza in their stores and the first pizzeria was opened in 1905 by Gennuardo Lombardi at 53 1/3 Spring Street in New York City. The origin of the word pizza is uncertain. It is Italian for ‘pie’ and may have come from Latin pix ‘pitch’ or Greek pitta.
