Yesterday, my friend and I have a talk over the net. I am pretty much in the mood for a little conversation from a friend whom I haven’t talked for a long time. She just narrates her life in the US and how she is affected by the economic crisis. She lost her part-time job which makes their lifestyle a little tight. However, she said she can’t afford to let go of her current lifestyle.
For now that she is a plain housewife that doesn’t earn anything, she is thinking of ways to get big savings. This is the only way she considers she can help her husband. I suggest that instead of paying separate amount for utilities like phone, internet and satellite TV, she gets bundled services like that of Verizon offers.
I don’t know if she knows about Verizon deals, I just suggest, she might not know it. I continued that if her phone, DSL and satellite television be bundled into one like Verizon bundles the cost would be lesser. And there will be onetime payment for the three since she will get one bill for the three. She just hope, like everybody else hopes that the crisis will not take long. If not most, she has no choice but to cut some of her expenses like her car usage and so on.
