issues tackled in Tyra bank show

issues tackled in Tyra bank showYesterday, out of my boredom I watch television for almost a day with no particular channels or movies at all. As I scan the channels, I stick to watching the Tyra bank show where she features couples who are facing difficulty reconsidering getting married. I think it is an interesting topic for a future wife to be.

One of the guest couple says that two days before her wedding date, she canceled the wedding. She found out that his husband is still married. The more interesting thing is that she never knew about it. And she already hesitates to the fact that she wants a child, but the guy already undergoes vasectomy. And, vasectomy reversal is already impossible. Correction there is only a slim chance, but it is still possible. Curious enough, I immediately scan the web to learn more about it.

Basically, males who undergo vasectomy obviously don’t want any kid anymore. Although a child is considered a gift, but the pain and sacrifices of rearing a child is unbearable to several people. The only way they know to stop it is through contraceptives and even vasectomy. However, when new relationships flourish most of the time it entails regrets. Apparently, the only way to start a family with a baby is to undergo Vasectomy Reversal.

So, I would say that before even considering vasectomy, one must consider VASECTOMY REVERSAL first. For one, it is a complicated procedure that might or might not work. Plus, it is way too costly. Of course it’s worth to take a risk just to have a baby. The possibility of having a baby again is slimmer compared to the untouched reproductive system.

The best possible way for vasectomy reversal to work is to look for the best surgeon. And if there is plan to conceive for the next months or years, the reversal should be done right away since stable semen may take some time. Well, I think I have enough to say about this post.

wifi issues with our lessor

wifi issues with our lessorNot long ago, our lessor whose house is at the back of our apartment asked if she could have an access to our Wifi. I have no problem letting her access the internet for one day because she said she just wants to try. I never thought that she means forever. Ouch! That’s a big problem. When we turned off her connection she sends an SMS asking for the password again. I think one day of trying a Wifi for free is too much.

Okay the point is hubby and I already share one connection for a 384kbps internet speed. We don’t have a high speed internet connection like that of Time Warner High Speed Internet. Adding another computer to the system will make the speed problem even worse. As a result I did not reply to her text. I just continue doing what I am supposed to do.

Speaking of Time Warner Internet, I am a bit interested with their internet speed. The connection operates on a cable broadband connection with speed that can reach up to 8Mbps. That is so fast compared to my 384kbps connection. I think it can even support eight or more computers. So sharing will not be a problem granting she will also pay. Hahaha!

I am really tempted to order Time Warner Internet Service online. Of course, I can’t since it only serves people within the US area. Unfortunately, I must be contented with my ISP speed. I can’t do anything about it.

Basic Guidelines for a Party Makeup

Basic Guidelines for a Party MakeupAfter all, party makeup is all about being special and part of a great time out. It needs a completely different approach and a dash of adventure to be successfully implemented. Here’s some basic guidelines how to begin:

  • Start Right- choose your dress, footwear and accessories the day before and co-ordinate your look for the big occasion in advance. This will help you get an idea about how you will look when all the elements are put together and give you a chance to mix and match (or discard) colors and coordinates with the maximum style.
  • Do your Hair Differently. If you’ve always pulled it back in a bun or braid, rinse it well and condition your crowning glory so you can leave it loose. Try securing fresh flowers, a bejeweled hair slide or parting it differently for a fresh, new look.
  • Ensure your nails are well manicured and neat. If dazzling nail color is not your style, you can opt for a French manicure or clear nail varnish to show off fashionably shaped talons. Temporary nail art stickers are inexpensive and trendy ways to make a style statement and are a great party makeup option.
  • If eyes are downplayed, then lips can be highlighted for balancing out the tone of party makeup. Applying foundation on the lips, waiting a minute or two and then applying your favorite lip color is the way to go. You can use blotting paper/tissue to quickly dab away excess color, reapply the lipstick and finish off with a touch of glitter, shine or lip gloss for a full-blown, sensational pucker-up session with such great party make-up.

managing my life

managing my lifeWhen hubby starts lecturing me about how to manage my life, I started to feel sleepy, distracted and stressed. I really hate when somebody tells me what to do with my life. So, instead of continually listen for his long lecture I will look for ways to divert my attention. I know he is just concern about me, but it’s too tiring to listen to him.

As for yesterday, he began lecturing me on how to deal with our situation. Out of nothing, I find myself comfortable in the web surfing just about anything including NC short term health insurance. It is the kind of insurance that protects people, who is waiting for something. There is no assurance that between jobs or while waiting for employers benefit nothing will happen. Illnesses and accidents may happen every day without precautions or warnings and the medical bills will surprise the person as well. It is better to safeguard financial future that gives peace of mind temporarily while waiting.

having her freedom

having her freedomOne of my friends who finally experience freedom from her protective parent asked if I can help her with certain things. She is looking for a house to stay, buy some appliances, and buy life insurance. Accordingly, she doesn’t want her parents to know that she wants to purchase a life insurance. And she doesn’t want them to know her beneficiaries.

We scout for different life insurance rate from different companies. She wants to get the most affordable premium that has the best package. I thought it’s difficult, but I stand corrected. Everything the quotes and the packages are available online. We were able to select one from the many insurance companies in a short span of time.

recycling plastic

recycling plasticThe dish on recycling plastic lids, caps, and covers? Although plastic lids and covers are recyclable, most processors ask you to trash them – but there are ways you can avoid sending them to the dump. Here are some few of it:

  • Check with your local recycler to see if the plant’s set up to handle small covers and lids. Either way, try to remember to separate caps from containers.
  • Aveda - take your caps into any Aveda store, and it’ll recycle them (note: they do have to be the common, #5 plastic type).
  • FamilyFun - includes projects that let kids get crafty with caps and lids.

Here are some benefits you can have by doing this; Editing out certain trashy details. Small lids (think water bottles, milk jugs, and condiment containers) often fall through filtering screens and don’t get recycled. And, good news for waste managers, at recycling plants, containers are easier to filter and bundle when plastics don’t mix (lid plastic’s different than bottle plastic) and the air is pushed out (lids trap air in).

at last got shortlisted

at last got shortlistedAt last a company called me for an interview. I have been sending my resumes to different companies here. And, praying that my application will be shortlisted. Although going to an interview is not new to me. But, I still have the feeling the first time I undergo such. Well, it’s been five years since my last interview and I forget the details to get the job. So, I go through sites that give information about going to an interview.

One of their suggestion is to go with the right corporate attire. First impression will count the first time I set foot in the office. So, I can’t blow off that chance.

That is why I went to the mall to buy new shoes since I toss my old shoes I used to wear a year ago. I thought I will never go back to work after deciding to live with my partner. I also bought business attire for the interview itself. The girl who called me specifically said that I should wear skirt, which I don’t have.

Now that I have the shoes and the clothes, I still want an accessory to complete the look. What could that be? Well, a shiny and elegant akoya pearls. Yepey! I am actually looking at a 14k yellow gold post earrings with hanadama pearls that is my ultimate crush for a long time. I find it simple, but the luster and the shape of the pearl will surely create a bold and elegant statement.

The thing is, I don’t have a lot of time to buy the real one. My interview will on Thursday and I don’t have that much. I know that salt water pearls are much affordable that the other pearls. But, I am not pretty sure I can get it here on time. Well, it’s much better not to wear any accessory than to buy fake ones, right?

good thing I learn

good thing I learnI never like watching medical oriented shows before. In fact, I hate it. However, everything changes when I met my partner whose profession is in the medical field. It’s a good thing by the way because I got a chance to learn different kinds of illnesses or diseases like mesothelioma. I know that I will not know about it or probably it will take forever to know this stuff because I don’t really care. It’s not my field. But, I should give credit to the person who keeps pushing me to understand his life.

Speaking of mesothelioma, I will give a brief background for this illness. It is a rare form of cancer that develops in the mesothelial cells. These cells are tissue that surround or line the lungs, heart, and stomach. This is commonly caused by almost always caused by exposure to asbestos. Its symptoms may not appear until 20 to 50 years after exposure to asbestos.
