I never like watching medical oriented shows before. In fact, I hate it. However, everything changes when I met my partner whose profession is in the medical field. It’s a good thing by the way because I got a chance to learn different kinds of illnesses or diseases like mesothelioma. I know that I will not know about it or probably it will take forever to know this stuff because I don’t really care. It’s not my field. But, I should give credit to the person who keeps pushing me to understand his life.
Speaking of mesothelioma, I will give a brief background for this illness. It is a rare form of cancer that develops in the mesothelial cells. These cells are tissue that surround or line the lungs, heart, and stomach. This is commonly caused by almost always caused by exposure to asbestos. Its symptoms may not appear until 20 to 50 years after exposure to asbestos.
