I have been suffering eye problems for almost a year now. I have no choice, but to use eyeglasses to read and see words. Actually, I hate it since it made me look a bit older than my age. I don’t like using contact lens as well. Good thing there are lots of fashion eyeglasses. And as time pass by I already find it as an accessory rather than a burden.
My favorite high fashion eyeglasses are quite expensive. I can’t just buy any design I want because of its price. Doing so will surely break my savings account. Of course I don’t want to do that. As I visit some of my fellow blogger, I find this one article about Zenni Optical.
Basically, Zenni offers $ 8 Rx eyeglasses. Its quality glasses at a very affordable price. That would mean I could get as many as 30 if I would spend the usual amount for my fashion eyeglasses. Doing that is a silly thing. I am okay with around five or six with different colors and design. It is indeed a smart spending. What about you, How You Can Start Spending Smart?

Being a student requires a lot of paper works whether a teamwork or individual work. My sister who is now in her third year college is having problem after her PC malfunction. Whenever she has a project she has to come here to type and print. But, it is much safer here as compared to going to an internet cafe in the town.
However, when she is doing a group project she usually faces a problem. Group project most of the time involved editing with that she needs to come back here every time they need to make the changes. It would be better for her to at least own a flash drive to save their paper so that they can make the changes in school with her group mates. With that she will not be hassle going back and forth here for the changes. Doing so will waste her precious time that she can use studying other subjects.

Due to the scarcity of job and the less likely to get a job abroad, one of my friends is now planning to go take up medical programs. She taught that she can still get a nursing degree in just two and a half years. It used to be like that two years before, but things have changed now. The Regulatory Commission issue a memorandum that all nursing students whether graduate or postgraduate will have to take up the course in four years.
Four years is a long time and she is no longer in her early 20s. It will be a waste of time to spend that long because she is already a degree holder. Well, in my head I think it would be better for her to just get a medical assisting certification. It is an online program that’s good for only 10 months. Although I feel I have a good idea, I decided to keep my mouth shut. It’s a long-term decision; I don’t want to be blamed if she finds herself not liking it.

Coming off, of a stressful week? Well, you can go deeper – underwater that is. If you’re looking for all-out relaxation and a shower just won’t cut it, treat yourself to a bath. Just do a few easy things – such as not filling it up all the way – to make your indulgence a little greener and you won’t get in over your head. Here are some little tips:
- Save baths for special occasions or stress evenings.
- Put the plug in from the beginning to save water (the hot water should warm up the initial cold water).
- Fill up a couple inches below full.
Benefits would be: You will have a not-so-deep water bills. A typical shower uses 12 gallons of hot water, while a bath takes about 20, but if you fill your bath up an inch less than regular, you’ll save up to 4.5 gallons. And, eco-accessories for shallow wallets, up the relaxation ante with inexpensive eco-trimmings such as bath salts. Enjoy your bath!

Last week, our neighbor approached me regarding our internet connection. She (Anne) is inquiring if there is a possibility of sharing our internet connection with them. Her husband who is a teacher continually does research for his topic subjects. I feel there is no problem with that because he only checked the web every weekend and on Mondays. He is assigned in the outskirts of town in which he is required to stay there during school days.
We instantly gave them permission to connect. But, they are required to provide their own cable wires that they gave us the other day. Upon connecting the lines, Anthony (the guy) noticed our television residing in one of our chair. He said that it’s quite unique and very practical. Hahaha. We told him that we are still saving for a television stand or television mounts.
We did not bother understanding what he really meant when he said that. We have so many things to do besides that. Maybe he is really impressed by the way we make use of what we have. Hahaha

When I was young around eight I remember my dad used to buy Christina VHS videos. We always watch the said videos every Lenten season when there are no regular television programming. However, as technology advances, we also update our entertainment gadgets at home from VHS to VCD and now to DVD. The older videos are now filed in a box and kept somewhere around the house.
Out of nowhere, I took for them after reading something about film transfer conversion. I accidentally learned about it while I am visiting my blogger friends. It’s quite interesting because if ever I will be able to watch again our favorite movies and some of my childhood days.
So, I looked for those old VHS. To my amazement, I also find some of my parents’ wedding photos that were way back the 70s. I instantly check for an online quote for 8mm film to DVD. I read that video conversion experts can transfer 8mm to DVD with great quality defined by clarity, color, graininess and scratches.
However, I am having difficulty understanding the terms used. I still need to figure out what format I need. Basically, video on DVD or Blu-Ray DVD will not degrade over time. Professional DVDs that are scratch proof are 100 times less likely to scratch and will last a minimum of 50 years. That’s a long time worth for my money. But, I still have to learn more about it.

It is often been told that if we want undeniable quality, we must not make any compromises even if that means paying more than we could afford on a single beauty product. In fact there is a new study by UK consumer that reveals this precisely the one thing on which the cosmetics industry relies, since most costly anti-wrinkle creams on the market are outperformed by budget versions in terms of visible and lasting results.
Well, it’s not just Hollywood stars who want to look younger, we all do, but it’s unlikely that spending a fortune on the latest miracle product will get rid of wrinkles. Study shows that anti-wrinkle eye creams have limited success, whatever they cost. So, while more costly products have more luxurious ingredients and come in a better and more appealing package, they offer little in return for their ridiculously high price tags. Owww! This is a serious blow to the cosmetics industry especially the study included some of the most popular products and brands now available on the market.
Study showed that the simple kind to skin replenishing rich moisturiser face cream worth just $5 outperformed the most expensive product tested, the StriVectin–SD, which costs $76. Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum, $27, the “miracle” anti-wrinkle cream that literally flew off the shelves after it was reviewed and proclaimed “scientifically proven” to eliminate wrinkles, came in second, falling in the “Moderate Wrinkle Reduction” category. Even more surprisingly, the much-hyped pharmacy brand RoC Retin-Ox Intensive Eye Cream ($33) came in last, being the only product of the 12 tested to fall in the “Least Effective” category, despite the positive media it had garnered since release.
