Basically, you can highlight your lips depending on their shape and thickness in these ways. Here some ways on doing it:
- Small Mouth and Small Lips – Correct them by using running a lip liner pencil outside the natural lip line. Now, fill in with primer and lipstick. If you highlight it with frosting on the upper lip, it would give an impression of fullness.
- Large Mouth and Full Lips - First, apply liquid foundation to the entire mouth, and follow it up with a an outline of a dark shade of lipstick just inside the natural shape of the mouth. Next, apply a lighter shade lipstick carefully and accurately within this outline. Use subdued shades and medium toned lip colours. Avoid dark browns, plums, electric shades or pale shimmer shades.
- Full Upper Lip - Apply fluid foundation on the upper lip and outline inside its natural contour with a dark shade of lipstick. Next, outline the lower lip just outside its natural contour and to draw attention to it, fill in a lighter shade of lipstick.
