Before I write this post,  I have been chatting with my closest friend in facebook. She is asking me where to buy cigars for the father of her friend. She will be traveling here this Saturday to attend a wedding the following day. She was invited by a guy friend and wants her to meet his parents. Okay, I feel that is so much for their second meeting.

She is a bit nervous about the whole situation as the parents of the guy is planning to screen her. So, to make a good impression she wants to give him something. She learns that the father loves cigar that’s why she is asking me about it.

I guess I will have to give some support here besides I can’t let my little brother down. He gathers all his courage to ask me to buy him something without letting mom do the talking. Anyway, I still have to ask his exact role before I make a purchase. I can’t just jump into something; I might end up buying the wrong item. It’s better to dig more information from him first before I can make a move.

Yesterday, my sister whom I send to school excitedly shows her graduation form and yearbook solicitation form. Well, it’s a good indication that she qualifies to graduate this March. Also, it’s a good indication that soon I will be free from school fees. Yepey!!! The thought of it excites me more, needless to say that I’m excited to see her graduate as well.

For about a week now I have been very unproductive. I just had a bad feeling that I’m gaining weight again. My hard work to lose weight is on the brink of becoming futile. Well, my suspicion was confirmed yesterday when I got a chance to wear my jeans. Normally, I wear lose clothes to give me comfort especially when I’m working. I know the risk that I may not be able to monitor my size. But, I continue to wear it to give me focus on my tasks.

I guess I need to move my bod to get rid of the excess when it is still manageable. I used to love running treadmills, but I tend to ignore it more and more these days. Honestly, I lose the desire to do it because my laziness engulfs me for quite some time now and I’m giving in to that. Now, I can’t afford to go back to my size last year.

We are just staying here for about a month now, yet I’m already planning to go home. Actually, the initial plan is for us to stay for at least two to three years since hubby needs to work. But, plans do change and we have to make adjustments. None of the local companies want to accept applications, if there are, he needs to wait for few more months or at least year before undergoing interview. There’s just too many competitions and less hospitals for them to work. That’s why he is trying his luck abroad.

It seems like his applications are shedding some light that he will soon get a job. This week alone there are at least three companies that will interview him. If fortunate enough, then I have to go back home to my parents. I can’t stay here all by myself. There is no one here that I can converse with. Plus, I’m not used to being with myself for a long period of time.

Well, it seems that I really need to prepare to take over all his online jobs. That also implies I need higher specs gadget like desktop computer and many more. It’s time to look for Black Friday and Cyber Monday hot deals. My laptop won’t be enough to cater both my tasks and his tasks.

For sure, the savings I can get from the discounts will help us in our finances. I’m already expecting lots of cash out if ever hubby will get a job order.

When we went to the mall last Sunday, a guy hand me over a leaflet. It is an invitation to join a business and entrepreneurs expo. I got interested as it features the best franchise opportunities, franchising companies and other small and medium enterprise. It’s a three day long expo with several activities and topics such as ‘the ABC’s of having a business,’ ‘entrepreneurial strategies’ and so much more.

Well, that will surely enhance my business knowledge. But, if ever I decided to take the plunge and start my own franchise business, I will get the views of the experts. Sure I can do it all by myself. But, their views and opinions especially on financial matters can greatly help.

One way to know those experts is to join the expo. The only problem, I’m overloaded with tasks that will due in two days. Gosh, I already let go of Monday schedule thinking that I may be able to join Tuesday event. Unfortunately, I’m still half way in finishing all those tasks.
