Last night on presenting duties Justin Bieber was at the 2011 Golden Globes and to do some promoting of his own. The moment he stepped on the red carpet, it became clear that he’d also gotten a haircut specifically for the occasion. As noted on a previous occasion, because Bieber is as famous as his “Bieber ‘do,” every time he does something to change it, he’s bound to make headlines, even if it’s only the smallest modification imaginable.

For the Globes, the teen idol seemed to have gone for a more layered look, which actually complimented his face better than his previous ‘do. Though Justin committed a red carpet faux-pas the other night by pairing a tux with sneakers (only Robert Downey Jr. can pull of this look, it’s being said), it was his new look that got the most attention.

The singer brought as date the director of his upcoming 3D film “Never Say Never,” Jon Chu, and even 3D glasses that both put on as they stopped for a word with Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, before the ceremony. Again, this too was considered among the fail moments of the night, though others point out that it wasn’t the sneakers, the glasses or the date that put Justin in the worst light, but rather his attitude.

While Christina Aguilera is far from the blushing daisy there are personal photos of her out in the media. The other day hackers broke into her stylist’s account. The pics emerged online hours ago and, though far from extremely embarrassing, they were clearly not meant to seen by everyone out there. A spokesperson for the singer and actress confirms for E! Online that, indeed, the pics are legit but they have been obtained illegally by hackers who broke into her stylist’s account.

“The photos of Christina Aguilera being leaked to the press were illegally obtained by a hacker who tapped into Christina’s personal stylist’s account. Since the photos have been obtained through an illegality, the statement goes on to say, an investigation has been launched to determine the culprit – and action will be taken against them,” the rep says in a statement sent out to all the major media outlets.

“The photos were taken in the privacy of Ms. Aguilera’s home and were used only in a personal exchange between the star and her stylist. We find the actions of the hackers and the press who purchased and/or obtained these photos to be irresponsible and actionable. We are attempting to determine the identity of the hackers and will pursue them aggressively. Their conduct is reprehensible,” the spokesperson explains.

Making every effort to make a name for their selves in showbiz, more and more teens are pressured by their parents or agents into getting plastic surgery. A little over a months ago, singer Charice made headlines after going on the record saying she’d gotten Botox to look her best for her upcoming appearance on the hit TV show “Glee.” As it turns out, she’s not the only one to do so, a recent report on PopEater points out.

In fact, the number of teens seeing plastic surgeons for interventions ranging from Botox and fillers to more invasive procedures is increasing alarmingly. Most of them are looking to launch a career in showbiz and are going under the knife in a bid to avoid the by-now familiar “before” vs. “after” photos on celebrity sites. “Many younger stars and emerging stars are coming in with their agents and with their parents to ask what we can do,” Southern California plastic surgeon Dr. Grant Stevens, who has had many celebrity patients, says for PopEater.

Pressure to always look perfect invariably takes a toll on these teens, experts believe – which prompts them to decide that the only way to become famous is by changing one thing or the other about their appearance. Thought teen plastic surgeries account only for 2 percent of the total number of interventions, it is not something that should be ignored. Surgeons offer counseling to their young patients to ensure they are completely aware of the consequences of this type of interventions.

Prior this year tabloids somehow caught wind of a potentially very juicy story: “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson had been approached by Courtney Love to play her late husband in a Nirvana Biopic and he had almost agreed to do it. Shortly after, Love herself denied the reports, saying having Pattinson as Kurt would have been “stupid,” a remark that more than irked the British actor for how rude it was.

Consequently, he’s fighting back, HollywoodLife informs – and he’s not about to let Love get away with it that easily. According to the e-zine, while promoting the latest “Twilight” film, “Eclipse,” Pattinson was asked about the whole fuss around the Nirvana biopic and how, at one point, he was attached to star in it as Cobain himself. That part was true, he says: he was offered the role but he turned it down for several practical reasons, one of them (and the deal-breaker, actually) being that he looks nothing like the late rocker.

“I love Nirvana, but I love them a bit too much – I’d be embarrassed [to play Kurt Cobain],” the British actor told UK’s The Mirror, as cited by HollywoodLife. “I didn’t get offered it. For one thing, I’m too tall, and I can’t sing like him, I’m nothing like him. It’s ridiculous,” Pattinson goes on to say about the whole hubbub in the media. Partly responsible for it was Courtney Love herself, Robert further explains, because she went ahead and shot off her large mouth without as much as thinking, thus putting him in a rather embarrassing light.

“Isn’t that so stupid, who would cast [Rob]? That’s just wrong. But isn’t [the thought of him playing Kurt] silly?” Love told the media when asked for confirmation or denial of the rumor that Pattinson had been cast. The actor responds now to this, and, suffice it to say, he’s not mindful of Love’s feelings in any way. “You see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying, ‘What the [expletive]! He’s totally wrong for it’, and I’m like, ‘I [expletive]-ing said no, you [expletive]!’”

Following the goodbye from “Transformers” franchise, Megan Fox has remained incredibly tight-lipped, save for a single statement coming from her spokesperson, in which she stated she was the one to leave and was therefore not fired. Not that this has stopped rumors from making the rounds, for that matter. In the latest issue of Interview magazine, Fox sets the record straight saying whatever dumb remarks she may have made in past interviews, she made them on purpose, the New York Daily News informs.

“Who said she was nuts? Megan Fox has revealed her thoughtful, sensitive side in Interview magazine’s latest issue, in which the star chats with, of all people, ‘The Hangover’ funnyman Zach Galifianakis about the pressures of fame and how much her bad-girl image is a result of her own attempts at misdirection. The result is a surprisingly thoughtful portrait of a woman who has been pegged as, alternately, a brat, a lunatic or an ingrate throughout the years by the media. For example, Fox gives a reasonable explanation for her dislike for the paparazzi,” the NYDN writes.

“I don’t really resent being on the red carpet as much as I do having to deal with the paparazzi. The photographers on the red carpet, that’s their job,” she says. She then goes on to say that the way she’s been portrayed in the media is partly her fault – but not by accident. “In the past, I’ve been reluctant to share any bits of truth about myself or to really let people in on my reality. So I have said some things to throw people off the scent of what’s really going on in my life. So I have sort of aided the media in printing these misconceptions, which I regret,” the actress explains.

Any person with the least bit of knowledge of celebrity culture also knows that Fox is considered one of the most gorgeous female stars of the moment – until she opens her mouth and says something that makes her very hard to like. Still, this excuse that she’s giving in Interview is not new either: back in May 2009, the stunner was saying people often perceived her as dumb because she was too good looking and had the kind of confidence that “oozed” through her pores, which left little room for intelligence.

Singer Fergie and “Transformers” star Josh Duhamel renewed their wedding vows one year after tying the knot, in what was a surprise ceremony put together by Josh himself, Us Magazine has learned. The actor managed to keep the ceremony a secret until the last moment and Fergie was completely taken aback by his sweet gesture.

The couple got hitched on January 10 last year on a beach in Malibu. On the occasion of their first anniversary, Josh organized a wonderful party and a brief ceremony to have their vows renewed as well. Since this took place on Wednesday, meaning not exactly on their anniversary, Fergie did not suspect anything until the last moment. During the 15-minute ceremony, held on a bluff overlooking the ocean, Fergie was ‘crying and very emotional,’ a source tells. Afterward, the couple had a romantic dinner at the resort’s upscale Miro eatery. They had the whole restaurant to themselves and left before the first customers came in, sources added. Following the meal, the couple left hand-in-hand to return to the helicopter and fly back to Los Angeles.

This comes on the heels of reports saying that the two stars are having a hard time in their marriage, mostly because Josh wants to start a family and Fergie is not yet ready to put her career on second place for it.

As you all know, these past few weeks have been extremely hard for golfer Tiger Woods, admittedly the highest earning athlete until just recently, as he made an estimated $100 million from endorsements alone. Following the car crash in which he was involved, his adulterous liaisons with other women have emerged, which has prompted Elin Nordegren to see attorneys in view of getting a divorce. The problem is, as TMZ says, Woods doesn’t want to go down that path.

Shortly after vehicle crash in which Woods was involved, text messages and e-mails to and from alleged lovers of Woods have surfaced in the media, and rumors started to circulate that Elin had already moved out of the house and was gearing up for a divorce. Yet, Woods seems to think that his marriage can still be salvaged, sources close to Elin says for TMZ, adding that the golfer will not agree to a divorce. If so, this would prove that his retirement from golf to become a better husband and father, as he said in a public letter issued after the scandal erupted, was not just a PR strategy to clean his image, but the actual truth.

As of now, the Tiger Woods mistress count has gone up to 14, some of who, of course, have nothing to substantiate their claims that they were involved with the golfer while he was still married. In the first stages of the media frenzy, Elin stood by her husband, as we also reported, but she later had a change of heart and moved out of the house until the whole thing blew over, it was said at the time.

I am watching ASAP a Sunday variety show earlier and I can’t help myself but notice one of the young star hosts. She is one of the sought after stars of her generation. The only thing that bugs me is her size. She is super thin like she’s suffering from Anorexia. Her smile lines are becoming very obvious. She doesn’t look good anymore. The fact that being on television adds more size, meaning she is really super, super thin. She’s no longer sexy.

I hope somebody will tell her that about it since there are lots of health risks linked to being super thin just like obesity. I hope the next time I see her, she’ll be much healthier than she is today.

According to NME report, the latest celebrity to be diagnosed with the Swine Flu is rocker Marilyn Manson, which has become the hottest celebrity “trend.” After actress Lisa Rinna, “Harry Potter” star Rupert Grint and CNN’s chief medical expert, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, were diagnosed with the virus, Manson too has gotten official confirmation that he has contracted the Swine Flu. Of course, that’s not to say that Manson has lost his sense of humor and that he can’t find it in himself to crack a joke about the disease. It is not the result of making close contact with pigs and sadly he will live to tell the tale, the rocker jokes on his Facebook page, the aforementioned music publication says.

“So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU.” Manson wrote on his Facebook page earlier this week, announcing his fans of having contracted H1N1. He then went on to joke about how he might have contracted the flu, given his outrageous public persona and love for controversy.

“Soon to be buried in a shallow grave. Current mood: amused. I can, but do not need to defend myself And the absurd accusations that the average press has clinged [sic] onto. If we need a photo of me to prove that I am far different than the soon-to-be-murdered-in-their-home press has decided to fabricate, that is easy. But if one more ‘journalist’ makes a cavalier statement about me and my band, I will personally or with my fans’ help, greet them at their home and discover just how much they believe in their freedom of speech. I dare you all to write one more thing that you won’t say to my face. Because I will make you say it. In that manner. That is a threat. Mm.” the rocker wrote at the time.
