Before I write this post, I have been chatting with my closest friend in facebook. She is asking me where to buy cigars for the father of her friend. She will be traveling here this Saturday to attend a wedding the following day. She was invited by a guy friend and wants her to meet his parents. Okay, I feel that is so much for their second meeting.

She is a bit nervous about the whole situation as the parents of the guy is planning to screen her. So, to make a good impression she wants to give him something. She learns that the father loves cigar that’s why she is asking me about it.

Last few weeks when too much heat hits the city, we experienced low supply of water that leads to several water interruptions in some areas. Luckily, we have our water running every day during that time. But, I have to admit we don’t have the quality of water we used to have before that incident. Problem: The water from your garden fountain flows unevenly. The Diagnosis – The garden fountain may be sinking unevenly or garden fountain is uneven right from the very beginning, thus, favoring to lean on one side.

Solution - The garden fountain must be constructed on a strong, stable and accurately level ground because these determine the outcome of the fountain. But, if it is too late to make a mend, try to place silicon sealants on lumps that flow water. There is a clog build up inside the hose or the hose is not connected to the pump. The water pump is not sucking enough water.

Make sure that the water pump is really defective before replacing it with a new one. Replace the hose connection. Free any solid deposit inside the hole to bring back the natural flow of water. It may be algae or insects. Make sure that the water pump and the hose is connected. Make sure that the water pump is completely immersed underwater.

Other kind of problems may involve a white build-up from the bottom of the fountain all the way up to the water line. The Diagnosis – You are putting ‘hard water’ on your garden fountain, a possible solution is to drain your fountain, clean the white build-up, and refill it with rainwater and not tap water.

My brother called me a while ago saying he needs my help. Well, the story goes like this. They will be having a play somewhere in September. It’s actually a school competition. But, they will be the one who will secure their individual costume. Okay, why am I involved with it? The answer is fairly simple.

He did not say it directly, but I sure get the idea. He wants me to buy him pirate costumes since pirate is his role. I guess I will have to give some support here besides I can’t let my little brother down. He gathers all his courage to ask me to buy him something without letting mom do the talking. Good thing I can still remember the costume store I ran across last year.

Anyway, I still have to ask his exact role before I make a purchase. I can’t just jump into something; I might end up buying the wrong item. It’s better to dig more information from him first before I can make a move.
