Aguilar's secret to fit figureI have seen the Golden Globe Awards this year, and I can’t help, but noticed Christina Aguilera in her fabulous strapless pink Versace gown that more than emphasized her enviably fit figure. Her trainer Tee Sorge reveals that all the dance rehearsals for the “Burlesque,” she also found the time to set and stick to a regular workout routine. This involves basic exercises that are meant to burn the calories and increase strength and resistance, the trainer says.

She starts her strength training sessions with a 10-minute warmup on the treadmill. It’s a great way to get the blood pumping before lifting weights. Get your heart rate up with my treadmill workout for beginners or the more advanced. Backward lunge with bicep curls: Trainer Tee Sorge says bicep curls are a great way to work Christina’s upper body: ‘Christina does three sets of each exercise and uses weights ranging from five to 15 pounds.’ During your next workout, change up a basic bicep curl and do 10 sets of this backward lunge with bicep curls.

Christina also does tricep dips. Tee says that Christina is strength training two to five times a week because ’she doesn’t lose her muscle mass or too much weight’ due to her long days rehearsing for Burlesque. Sit-ups: Christina’s favorite thing to do is work those abs. It’s no joke either – she’s doing 300 to 500 sit-ups a session!

Other than that, in order to become this fit, the singer has banished all whites from her diet, which means no flours, rice or sugars. However, because all this without some fun would be almost too hard, Christina gets one cheat day per week, the trainer adds.

decorating the house with indoor plants

decorating the house with indoor plantsEver since I decided to move out of my parents house, I started to love plants. It is probably because I have more time to spend with it now as compared to before where I keep on chatting with my mom during my free time. As of the moment I have a small garden that I water every morning and afternoon.

However, the high temperature places a toll in my garden. The sad thing, I can’t do anything about it. I can’t put an umbrella just to keep it cool. Installing a greenhouse isn’t possible as well because it is way too expensive. To make matters worse, the news said this Elnino will continue until July. I can only imagine the result of my plants by the time the weather goes back to normal.

Since there is little I can do for my garden, I come up with an idea to purchase an indoor plants. That way I can protect them from the harsh sunny weather. My choices range from bonsai, cactus, daffodils and orchids. All of them are nice. Now I have to make a plan on the kinds of plants, how many and where to place them if ever.

I can’t wait to see my house with so many pretty plants. I am sure it will give life to my boring four corner house.

thinking of family vacation this summer

thinking of family vacation this summerIt has been a sunny day these past few days, which makes it perfect to go to the beach. But, splurging the cold beach water isn’t exciting if done alone. That is the reason I am planning a family vacation this summer.

Anyway, I am not thinking of a grand vacation even though Karisma’s all-inclusive concept is super perfect. The elite level of service, luxurious accommodations, invigorating entertainment, classy snap-to service, and the first-class food on the secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya would make a vacation truly relaxing.

However, that is beyond what I can afford for the moment. So, a little inexpensive vacation will do for all of us. I am sure this little thing will make the kids happy and refreshed.

his bad collision experience

daily ramblings, story, thoughts and ideas No Comments »

his bad collision experienceDue to the huge number of vehicles in the road nowadays, it is unavoidable to get into road accidents. No matter how sane driver you are, sooner or later you will find yourself dealing with it just like one of my friends whom I have a chat during our reunion. He has been a good driver for at least three years now. His job as medical supplies representative requires him to bring a car every now and then to finish his tasks.

However, last February 2, 2010 he got into an accident that costs so much not on his company car, but his parents. He decided to use their brand new Toyota Hilux to work. Unluckily, when he tried to avoid the other vehicle at the right side, he bumped into the other car on the left side. Fortunately, the damage to the other car is so slight that the driver just let it go. The problem now is the damage on his car.

Without insurance to cover the damages they shoulder all the expenses that reach more than $3000. From that time, he no longer wants to drive a car that he doesn’t own. He instantly asked for auto insurance quotes from our common friend who is selling insurance. He said that if the accident did not happen, he would not realize the importance of having a backup system like insurance.

something about addiction

something about addictionIt was just recently that I became a great fan of facebook. Actually, I’m not interested in social networking sites before until one of my friends persuades me to give it a try. She said that the only way I can look at her Japan escapade pictures is through joining facebook. Since then, it has become my habit to check my account every now and then.

However, yesterday I did not just check my account. I roam around the facebook community to search for my friends. And I found lots of them as well as the Passages Malibu account. It’s actually an addiction cure center located in Malibu, CA that offers a unique approach to holistic drug and alcohol abuse recovery in which they treat the underlying cause of addiction.

I’ve learned about this Passages Malibu on Twitter when I was searching for a celebrity who gets into trouble because of drugs. But, she was able to recover from it and starting to get her life back.
